New York, United States
RGI has been better able to harmonize nature with our curiosity thanks to projects around the world such as usonia.
Usonia was created by Frank Lloyd Wright along with his students to test and create a new style of interaction that brought people back to nature while also giving them a home that brought neighbors closer together. A community that broke all of the home-architecture rules at the time is now seen as inspiration and has been copied in various ways throughout the last century. To continue the legacy of Usonia, Florida Southern College built one of Wright's buildings 74 years after it was designed. Here at RGI, we have used this inspiring New York-based project to further propel our designs and creativity for interactions among visitors in our exhibits. Connecting our projects with nature oftentimes increases the impact that they have by bringing in a natural sense of wonder.
